One tale shared among the treasure hunters who adventure into the Great Uannat-tuan Jungle speaks of the lost Temple of the Verdant Solitaire. It tells of a towering stone edifice constructed over two centuries ago under the orders of Sovereign Prince Un’di-eed for his consort, Sadda-gurra, High Priestess of Essenuok. As a tribute to the temple’s given name, the resident priests used their jewel-crafting skills to create an exceptional jade brooch for their high priestess. Many believe the vanished temple still houses the prized jewel. What they don’t know are the dangers that await them within.
Temple of the Verdant Solitaire is a Q-Crawl, or Quick-Crawl, that can be run for a group of four to six players with 10th-level characters. This crawl would be considered a ‘medium’ to ‘hard’ encounter.
Q-Crawls are designed to drop into your game where needed. They are meant to add flavor to a campaign, giving a little depth to a combat encounter.
